01
Walkthrough and Camera Inspection
We start by finding every register, return, and accessible run in your home, then push a duct camera through the main trunk to see what is actually inside. You watch the screen with us. This takes 15 to 20 minutes and tells us whether you need a standard clean or a heavier remediation.
02
System Setup and Sealing
We cut in a negative air machine at the main trunk and seal every register cover we are not actively cleaning. That keeps the whole system under negative pressure so loosened debris travels to the HEPA vacuum instead of into your living room. Setup runs about 20 minutes on a typical South Ogden ranch or two-story.
03
Mechanical Agitation of Every Run
Working branch by branch, we run a rotary brush and air whip through each supply and return, then follow with a compressed air nozzle to push debris back toward the vacuum. Flexible duct gets a softer brush so we do not tear the liner. This is the longest step, usually 60 to 90 minutes.
04
Coil, Blower, and Component Cleaning
While the vacuum is still connected, we clean the evaporator coil, blower wheel, and cabinet with coil cleaner and a soft brush. This is the step most cheap duct cleaning crews skip, and it is the one that actually restores airflow. Budget 30 to 45 minutes depending on how much buildup we find.
05
Sanitize, Verify, and Walk Through
We fog the system with an EPA-registered sanitizer, reinstall every register cover, and run the camera back through to confirm the runs are clear. Then we walk you through the photos, note your filter size, and tell you when to schedule the next service. Total job time is typically three to four hours.
